Supreme Court Ruling on Obamacare and the Impact on the IRS

The IRS has been struggling with budget cuts resulting in less staff and longer delays on tax resolution cases getting resolved. With the recent decision of the Supreme Court on Obamacare, it is now discussed that the IRS is going to have to hire thousands of new agents just to enforce Obamacare, see "Not a Tax: IRS to Hire Thousands of New Agents to Enforce Obamacare". How this is going to impact the current state of the IRS is unknown as this process of dealing with Obamacare will take years to unfold. However, the need to enforce the Health Care Law will undoubtedly put a strain on a Agency that is already feeling the heat. There are some already questioning how it will even be possible, "Can IRS police both taxes and health care law?".
Time will tell on how this will play a role within the tax resolution industry but it is already clear that the IRS will play a major role enforcing Obamacare in the future. The only thing that may change that is if we have a change in the White House come November.
